Job Description
The Training Consultant is responsible for the success of izmocars Accessories Program at dealerships and the measure of success is increase in dealership's accessories sales.
The consultant works with the dealers' ownership/ management to ensure proper utilization of our programs and adoption by the sales people on the showroom floor. The consultant is required to analyze gaps in the dealership process and do the necessary process or knowledge training to ensure that sales goals are met.
This person is responsible for maintaining best practices and a high level of performance in accessory sales and Internet sales. The main goal of consulting will be implementing a new Accessory Program and a Proven Internet Sales Process, helping dealers grow Revenue over time.
This position requires that the Training Consultant be able to understand different environments of processes at dealerships and independently develop the custom processes and practices for each dealer. The candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated persuasive leadership and team-building skills.
Ideally, this candidate will have worked in a dealership retail environment, preferably in the Part & Accessories department, or should have extensive senior management experience at dealerships.
Desired Skills & Experience
Be an Accessories Champion at dealerships,training the dealership’s staff on selling accessories and increasing their overall profitability.
Push dealerships to sell more accessories and train them to sell and if required demonstrate by example on how accessories need to be sold.
Deliver consulting and training which ensure that each client’s performance contributes to the business goals of the company.
Conduct needs analysis; identify performance gaps; and develop and deliver consulting and training to address areas that may impede performance.
Ensure the effectiveness, quality, and integrity of our sales and client management processes by teaming with the Sales and Implementation Teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Must understand the accessories business and have proven track record of growth of accessory sales at dealerships.
Ability to understand dealership financials and seek out problem areas for improvement.
Must be a highly motivated, self driven individual with high energy and a desire to win.
Strong communication skills and experience in coaching and building teams.
Management experience in dealerships preferred.
Must be able to deal with General Managers and Dealer Principals and advise and convince them.
Experience with OEM programs preferred.
F&I manager or sales manager including experience in delivering and evaluating Process driven training programs in a consultative sales environment.
Strong presentation skills and creativity are both essential.
Deep knowledge of Cars, Accessories and Internet Sales.
Proven analysis, problem resolution, judgment,and decision-making skills.
